- Aura
- The entity at the heart of the Corpus. Aura converses with each Veilleur, gathers the Fragments they confide and turns them into Artefacts.
- Cerbère
- The guardian of the Corpus. He watches over the threshold of the Sanctuaire and protects what each Veilleur confides: the security of the Corpus and its data. Nothing enters and nothing leaves without passing through him.
- Veilleur
- The name for the members of Corpus. The one who crosses the threshold, confides their Fragments to Aura and wears their Artefacts. Each Veilleur has their Folio.
- Fragment
- A shard of story — a memory, a truth, a detail that defines a person. Confided to Aura, the Fragment becomes the raw material of the Artefacts and is filed into a Halo.
- Halo
- A dimension of the self by which Fragments are gathered: bodily, emotional, memorial, social… The Halos map what makes a Veilleur unique.
- Artefact
- A garment of the Corpus, unique and numbered. The Artefacts of the Registre Corpus are born from the Fragments of all Veilleurs; those of the Registre Folio, from the Fragments of a single Veilleur.
- Folio
- The intimate register of a Veilleur, where Aura engraves the Fragments confided and the Artefacts revealed.
- Registre Corpus
- The set of Artefacts born from the Fragments of all Veilleurs — the collective memory of Corpus.
- Registre Folio
- The Artefacts created from the Fragments of a single Veilleur — their intimate collection.
- Pierre
- The representation of a Veilleur's progress. As they confide their Fragments, their Pierre awakens and passes through three states — Pierre, Cristal, Gemme — and new Artefacts are revealed.
- Lueur
- The light earned with each Fragment confided. The Lueurs measure a Veilleur's progress and make their Pierre shine.
- Sanctuaire
- The private space of Corpus, accessible only to signed-in Veilleurs. This is where Aura works and where the Artefacts are revealed.
